Biofilm

The biofilm is what water creates in your water feature, basically the slimy layer that water leaves behind on your walls, and it is precisely the biofilm that forms the host and adhesion layer for algae and bacteria.

We tackle the biofilm with our High-Frequency Ultrasonic devices. For example, in an existing swimming pool, we provide a floating transducer in the corner that spreads the ultrasonic frequency in the water. This frequency is completely harmless to humans and animals, but it does break down the biofilm responsible for the growth.
