The Hull

We can equip the hull of the ship with our Transducers. A calculation will follow of the surface area of the hull to determine the layout of the transducers. Industrial cabinets will be used to house the control boxes according to the section of the ship.

If the hull remains clean, the ship will glide more easily through the water, resulting in a significant reduction in fuel costs, between 5 and 8%.

Water tanks / Sanitary

We can also treat the water tanks by killing the legionella bacteria, so this bacteria can no longer multiply in the tanks or piping system. This is for the general health of the crew.

Here we also use High Frequency Ultrasonic with its own frequency.

Boxcoolers

The boxcooler is one of the main components on a ship. When it no longer works, sailing is over, and the ship, depending on the boxcooler, must go to dry dock, which brings additional costs. NDV specializes in keeping these Boxcoolers clean with High Frequency Ultrasonic, so WITHOUT CHEMICALS.

Both LT and HT are no problem for us, and we also treat the sea chest. We work worldwide in all ports, on all types of coolers, whether Boxcoolers or Plate Coolers.

Ballast tanks

A ship's ballast tanks are filled with seawater at the ship's mooring location when required. When these ships sail to Europe, they are not allowed to simply discharge the ballast water. An external company must be called in to measure the life in the ballast tanks, and the water in the ballast tanks must be removed and treated separately by a cleaning company, which entails additional costs. NDV can solve this by using its specialized high-frequency ultrasound (HFU) frequencies, which kill the life in the ballast tanks. The water measurements will then reveal that the water can be discharged on-site, resulting in significant savings and time gains.

Diesel tanks

Diesel bacteria can develop in the diesel tanks, multiplying freely, which then enters the diesel lines and blocks the diesel filters, causing the engines to stop. This is the greatest fear of every captain on his ship.

The Piping System

In the piping system on board, deposits such as lime can form, causing the diameter of the inner pipe to become smaller and even clog, with the necessary consequences.
